Café rustic Islamabad

 

Café Rustic is a small place situated in E-7 Markaz, Shaheen Market, Islamabad. When it comes to meat and that being done well, this place would certainly be in one of the top slots. Steaks or burgers - they know how to make it. I personally tried their tomahawk steak which is always cooked in a cast iron skillet basted with garlic butter and sprigs of rosemary to the perfect doneness of your choice. 

The second thing I tried on the menu that I tried was the Beef Angus Burger which was slightly aged with a ratio of 10% fat to 90% minced meat. It is also cooked on a skillet and served with a side or amazing tempura fried onion rings and rustic potato fries accompanied by their special burger sauce topped with finely chopped chives. The burger itself contain potato bread buns with caramelized onions, sundried tomatoes and the meat patty itself. If u want a cheesier option, then u can go for the original cheese burger which is the same as the Angus burger but has a thick slice of deep-fried mozzarella cheese patty which is to die for. I mean how Mouth watering is that, I already want to go back. Steak and cheese sandwich are usually a hit and miss at many places and not many people can pull it off but let me tell you this one here at Café Rustic was a big hit.  The prices are on the higher end but it is 100% worth every penny. I love how they serve this special green tea at the end of the meal.
They also have car hop service and in times of COVID-19 I would 100% recommend this place as it also has outdoor dining. They also provide cute intimate setups for birthdays and anniversaries which with their meal becomes a 10 on 10 experience.
There interior decor goes perfectly with the name as it provides a very rustic feel for the customer with the open kitchen and the dark wood theme plus their warm orange lights provide a very cozy feel as you sit there and wait for your food which brings me to the part where I tell you that you don’t have to wait for too long for the scrumptious food as their customer service is very fast and efficient. The place, the food, the chef and waiters really do make your visit to the place worthwhile.
