WANT CHINESE FOOD? "ASIAN WOK" IS THE PLACE FOR YOU...

Asian Wok has opened two of its branches, one in Beverly center Islamabad and the other in Bahria Town. As you can tell from the name (Asian wok) brings us a variety of Asian food typically made in a bowel shaped frying pan with a tinge of Pakistan. I’m not much of a Chinese lover but Asian wok has provided me with such amazing Chinese food incorporated with the Pakistani flavour I love. It’s not just that they also have pure (Chinese cuisine) and (Thai cuisine) to excite your tastebuds from the exotic flavours.  

Their (Chinese menu) include appetisers such as “prawns” of different style, spring rolls and dumplings all made in a (traditional Chinese cooking) manner.

They have a variety of the most amazing (soups) you’ll find in twin cities and quite frankly you can enjoy these in summers and definitely in winters. The hot favourites are definitely Asian wok special and (Hot and sour soup).

They have both chicken and beef gravy’s as well as dry dishes. You’d find a huge variety of gravy’s such (Kung Pao Chicken), (Szechuan Chicken), (Shu Shi chicken) and so much more to choose from. You’d find a lot in beef too but my personal favourite is (Beef with chillies) this ones for all the spicy food lover. 

They also have a variety of Rice you can choose from such as egg fried rice which are the most famous then there are (steamed rice) which go best with their (Thai curry) and many other other flavour which would include prawns or spice. 

Now coming to a Chinese lovers dream which is (sea food) in which you have (Sushi), (Lobster), a variety of (Fish) and (prawn) dishes and what not. 

They also have the most amazing noodle dishes and two of my favourites would be (American Chop Suey) and (Singaporean Rice Noodles). I must say their Chinese menu is filled with the most amazing food you could dream of and might I add the food is always up to the mark.

 Coming to their Thai cuisine which is not as vast as their Chinese but it sure is as good. Their starters include the traditional Thai food and salads such as (poocha) and (Yum Sam krob). 

They have a variety of Thai style soups which are mostly clear such as (Tom yum goong). 

Now coming to the best thing in the menu which are their (Thai curry).These are all (coconut milk) based curries and they taste just heavenly and my personal favourite would be the green curry; (Geang keaw wan gai) and the red curry;(geang phed goong). They have a huge variety of curries. 

Last but not the least  their Thai sea food for all sea food lovers include; (crap), (squid), (lobster), fish and prawns. Their sea food variety is bigger than the Chinese sea food. 

Lastly they also have Thai style rice and noodle and a poultry section with different chicken dishes such as (Gai phad nor mai), (gai thod krob) and so much more. 

When Asian wok opened in Islamabad it took over by storm, it was full 7 days a week and you always needed to get reservations. The food was so good people would wait for hours to get a table and might I add nothing has changed till now. Their chefs are highly trained all the way from China, their recipes and flavour are unique from all Chinese restaurants that have opened up here. The star of the show is their mint margarita which they serve for free and trust me when I say it had a way of attracting people. You can drink as many glasses as you want, it’s just so refreshing. This is what makes the stand out their complimentary all you can drink margaritas and the amazing food that they serve. They always make sure to ask you for your feedback and mine has always been excellent. The ambiance is so relaxing as if you’re sitting in a Chinese garden with cherry blossoms around you. Everything from their service to their food is excellent and the best part is they’ve maintained their standard and quality in both their beaches. I would highly recommend everyone visiting their.
